About Myself

Before  creating  this  blog  page  and  starting  anything  to  write  I  think  I  should  write  about  me  and  myself.  but  unfortunately  I  have  not  done  that  and  at  the  same  time  it  is  also  true  that  there  is  still  time.  so  here is  all  about  myself.  I  am  Amrita  from  Calcutta , India.  Now  I  do  stay  in  Surat , a city  of  Gujarat , another  state  of  India.  I  am  28  years  old.  My  hobby  is  reading,  cooking  and  listening  music.  But  among  these  three  the  most  lovely  to  me  is  reading.  I  am  married  and  now  4  months  pregnant.  I  am  an  M.phil  Scholar  and  also  an  assistant  professor  of  English  literature.  but  due  to  my  pregnancy  I  have  left  it  and  staying  at  indoor.  Spending  hours  idly  is  the  worst way  to  lead  a  life.  So  apart  from  doing  household  works  I  thought  why  not  utilize  this  time.  Therefore  I  started  to  write  this  blog. I  also  read  books  during  these  days  and  planning  to  post  honest  review  of  those  books.  Mainly  I  like  to  read  novels  and  Victorian  novels  are  my  favourite.  So  I  have  decided  to  read  Victorian  novels  one  by  one  and  give  reviews.  but  before  that  I  am  reading  an  Indian  novel  by  R.K.Narayan.  I  will  definitely  post  reviews  of that  book  also.  Apart  from that  I  am  also  thinking  of  uploading  my  pregnancy  blog.  hope  u  will  find  it  soon.

A short trip to Dummas beach.

Before coming in Surat the only fascination I had had that it is a coastal area and has many beaches. The beaches of Arabian Sea is less fascinating to me than the sea itself because I am really a nature lover and being born and brought up in West Bengal I have already pleased my eyes by the beautiful sights of the Bay of Bengal and its beaches. Anyhow I got very much excited about the thought of viewing it. In January when I came in Surat from then onwards I was told by my neighbours and also by various youtubers that the most famous beach in and nearby Surat is Daman , Diu  and Dummas. Amongst these three we can enjoy in Daman and Diu but not in Dummas. Not only that last year in December when my husband visited Surat for the first time he found the beach dry and the most ridiculous thing for me that I was informed by everyone that it is a haunted beach and so better to avoid visiting it after sunset.                     ...
